In 2001, Via Spiga had yet to define a brand for itself in the online marketplace and decided it was time to bring their bitchy attitude (their words, not mine) to the web. I created a shopping site that had a strong catalog feel to it which appealed to their current customers, yet offered a familiar browsing experience to new customers. With edgy layouts, the brand's strength of non-conformity made a beautiful transition to the digital world.
